Councilmember Kent Lee (District 6)
The first Prescription Drop-Off event hosted between Councilmember Kent Lee’s office, the SDPD’s Community Relation's Northeastern Division, and the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The purpose is to promote community safety and prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction by properly disposing of unneeded medications for free as a small and active way to raise awareness of the drug overdose epidemic in the US in recognition of National Take Back Day in October.
Contact Officer Santos (csantos@pd.sandiego.gov) and Elena Jacques ( elena.m.jacques@dea.gov) for more information.
